David Huggins is a dynamic finance and accounting professional with over 19 years of experience across the environmental services, oilfield services, and professional services industries. His career highlights include serving as the Vice President of Finance at Catapult Environmental Inc., since 2015, where he played a pivotal role in securing private equity funding and debt financing, to support the company’s growth from inception. David's expertise extends to corporate reporting, treasury management, and strategic planning. He is known for implementing robust financial foundations, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions, and has been instrumental in shaping his organizations' strategic directions. In addition, David also oversees the Human Resources, Legal, Information Technology, and Risk Management functions at Catapult.

David's prior roles include managerial positions at Tervita Corporation, where he managed the global budgeting and forecasting processes, participated in strategic planning, and led corporate accounting functions. His experience also encompasses roles in audit and assurance at MNP LLP, where he honed his knowledge of IFRS and ASPE. With a solid educational background, including a Chartered Professional Accountant designation and a Bachelor of Applied Business and Administration in Accounting, David is well-equipped to navigate complex financial landscapes. David also serves as Executive Director at Dunwald & Fleming Enterprises since May 2018 and actively volunteers as a youth soccer coach in the community.
