Dan has over 35 years of diverse experience in North American and international petroleum, environmental and midstream businesses. He is currently the President and CEO of Catapult Environmental Inc. and was the President and CEO of Modern Resources until its sale in November of 2020. He was also the founder and CEO of Primavera Resources, a private Canadian oil & gas producer. Prior positions include Director, President and CEO of a publicly listed oil and gas producer, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Provident Energy Trust, Division Vice President for Nexen Inc. as well as several executive positions with Canadian Occidental Petroleum Ltd.

He has lived and worked in Canada and abroad with experience in onshore and offshore operations. Dan is a past governor of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers and is one of the Society of Petroleum Engineers' published authors. He has served as a director for a number of public oil and gas companies as well as several charitable and not for profit organizations.
