James Bonyai is a seasoned finance executive with an extensive background in the energy and environmental sectors. Serving as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Catapult Environmental since November 2016, Mr. Bonyai has been pivotal in propelling financial success and strategic expansion for the company.

 Before joining Catapult, he held the role of VP Finance & CFO at Bruin Oil & Gas Inc., PetroToro Inc., and Northern Cross (Yukon) Ltd., showcasing over a decade of financial leadership and expertise. Mr. Bonyai's impact extended to roles such as Treasurer at Trican Well Service Ltd. and VP Finance & CFO at WorleyParsons Komex Ltd. and Komex Environmental Ltd., underscoring his robust financial foundation and contributions to organizational achievements.

Commencing his career at Price Waterhouse in 1986, Mr. Bonyai engaged in diverse assignments encompassing audit, taxation, insolvency, corporate restructuring, and corporate finance.

A graduate of the University of Saskatchewan, he holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is an active member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants.
